How self-driving cars could make traffic lights obsolete
An interesting post from Vox. From a driver’s point of view, I welcome a future where cars can smartly and safely zip through intersections like schools of fish crossing paths. But I’m a pedestrian more often than I am a driver, and the author raises an interesting question:
Slot-based intersections obviously don’t work for places where pedestrians need to cross. Or for bicycles. So what do you do there?
